G 15 Felt

GAP G 15 roofing felt is a widely accepted underlayment product that is manufactured from organic felt and is saturated with asphalt. G 15 felt underlayment is applied over the roofing deck before installation of asphalt shingles. This is recommended for use with 20 year asphalt shingles.

  • Mass of saturated felt roll = 8.0 lbs/ 100 ft sq
  • Mass of asphalt saturant = 4.0 lbs / 100 ft sq

G 30 Felt

GAP G 30 felt is an economical underlayment product that is manufactured from superior quality organic felt that is saturated with asphalt. GAP G 30 felt underlayment is applied over the roofing deck before installation of asphalt shingles.

  • Mass of saturated felt roll = 13.0 lbs/100 sq ft

GAP ASTM 30 D226 Type 2 is an underlayment product that is manufactured from superior quality organic felt that is saturated with asphalt. GAP ASTM 30 D226 is an underlayment that is applied over the roofing deck before installation of asphalt shingles.
