Email Conversion to Office 365

Thank you to all of BPI’s employees for your patience and support while BPI’s IT team converted email to Microsoft Office 365! BPI’s IT team waldo together had hundreds of hours into the planning and incorporation of this Email conversion with Lana Smith leading the IT team for this project. Overall, the project went well with what we believe to be minimal complications and hiccups following the conversion.

Metabolic Syndrome, We're On It

Metabolic Syndrome occurs when a person has three or more of the below risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. The five risk factors are:

  • increased blood pressure (greater than 130/85 mmHg)
  • high blood sugar levels (100mg/dL or greater)
  • excess fat around the waist (greater than 40 inches in mean and 35 inches in women)
  • high triglyceride levels (150 milligrams per deciliter of blood (mg/dL) or greater)
  • low levels of good cholesterol, or HDL (less than 40 mg/dL in men or less than 50 mg/dL in women)

BPI Employees whose biometrics in the spring of 2020 identified them at risk of Metabolic Syndrome are invited to participate in health coaching.  In the spring of 2021, those who reduced their risk factors, will be entitled to cash bonuses.  If you are new to BPI’s biometric screenings, you can take your initial screening now with the same cash offerings in the spring of 2022.
