Tom Schill Retires
Published on Wednesday, January 8, 2020
Tom grew up in Gowrie, IA, graduating high school in 1974. He then attended NIACC in Mason City on a golf scholarship and from there went to Briarcliff College in Sioux City. At the age of 21, Tom started his own business and was self-employed for 10-1/2 years as a carpenter.
In 1988, he went to work for Larson Mfg. and stayed there for over 15 years as an outside sales rep covering Iowa and Nebraska. One of his stops for Larson was BPI, so we got to know him well over the years. Tom came to work for BPI in 2003, he excelled at developing the territory; making friends, earning trust, and growing business.
Outside of work, Tom is an avid and very accomplished golfer. He has won 3 Senior Majors in Iowa and together with his son, Nate, they’ve won the State Father/Son tournament twice! After 16 great years at BPI, we are proud to announce the retirement of Tom Schill on January 10th, 2020. He and his wife, Rachel, are headed to Arizona for some warm weather and probably some golfing.
Congratulations Tom!
